Purchase Agreement

Parched Floral Purchase Agreement & Studio Policies

Thank you for choosing Parched Floral to preserve your special flowers. Below is our combined Purchase Agreement and Studio Policies. By placing your deposit, you agree to the following terms:

Creative Process & Artistic Discretion

  • We’re flexible and committed to creating something you love—but ask that most artistic discretion is left to us. You’ll choose a general style, and we’ll bring it to life with room for small edits at the mockup stage.
  • You have browsed our floral frame work and our style/essence aligns with what you are looking for. We open flowers to expose their centers, which can dramatically change their appearance (roses, especially). Please review examples on our website and Instagram @parchedfloral.
  • Please do not send photos of other artists’ work or ask us to replicate them. Choose an artist whose style you genuinely connect with.

Booking, Deposit & Pricing

  • All floral frame items in our store are deposits only and marked accordingly. This reserves your flower preservation spot.
  • The deposit is applied toward your final invoice. For full pricing, refer to our pricing page.
  • Due to limited capacity and resource availability, deposits are non-refundable unless your event is canceled.

Client Responsibility

  • You are responsible for dropping off or shipping your bouquet to our studio (drop-off in Ancaster, shipping to Peterborough).
  • Your bouquet will be pressed in the condition it arrives. We cannot guarantee results for wilting or damaged flowers.
  • Remove any ornaments, charms, or ribbon before sending, as we do not return unpressed items.

Design & Flower Limitations

  • Not all flowers press equally. We may omit blooms based on their condition, thickness, or spacing requirements.
  • Your layout preference will be collected in your client questionnaire. You will receive one mockup revision opportunity before the final piece is assembled.
  • The final piece will not be an exact replica of the mockup.

Colour Changes & Correction

  • Flowers naturally change colour during pressing. Over time, colours will continue to shift and fade.
  • If you select colour correction, we will use our judgment to enhance flowers based on best outcome.

Timeline & Turnaround

  • Turnaround time is approximately 9–10 months. Please book only if you are comfortable with this timeline.
  • This is a slow, thoughtful art form. Timelines are always approximate and may shift during busy seasons.
  • We do not rush the process and ask for your patience.

Communication Boundaries

  • Our email response time varies from immediate to 5 business days. We are working artists focused on production.
  • You’ll receive our direct cell number a few days before drop-off to ensure prompt communication at that time.
  • We do not accept phone calls or DMs about order status. Please email all inquiries.

Pre-Booking Education

  • We’ve created a detailed FAQ, a post-booking questionnaire, a contract, and pre-drop-off/shipping instructions.
  • These materials are thoughtfully written to answer most common questions.
  • Please read all documentation thoroughly before reaching out, as answering already-covered questions takes time away from active work.

Location & Service Limitations

  • We currently only accept bouquets from within Canada. However, we can ship final frames internationally.
